Can`t test if this really works! I was able to download the program and it appears that it was able to read the disc but I'm not sure if it's really working. I'm afraid it is some kind of a hoax just to make me feel it is going to work but after getting my money, or paying the bloody serial key over the internet, it. Wont really gonna work at all! At least they should show some footage of what was inside the disc to really make me believe it is really gonna work! I'm just trying to help my friend retrieve their videos lost ...

Recommend Would recommend the product to those who make heavy use of such applications.

Worked great for the little I needed. I needed it just for one initial extraction of a microsoft image upon recommendation to slipstream sp2 into a winxp OS boot disk. Worked great. Not sure I really needed to spend $30 on that tho, but I didn't want to spend all day looking for a solution and it worked precisely as advertised.

Cannot test all features I downloaded ISOBuster to see if I could recover a CD given to me possibly created with Roxio. I could not extract anything at all. Only got a file listing; which is better than the other recovery software I've tried so far. So I tried ISOBuster with an ISO image I had saved. It read all files.

Until now, this is the only software able to recognize my corrupted data CD, all the 18 others I\'ve tried display \"empty CD drive\".However when I try to recover the datas, the 650MB file I get is fully zeroed : does this mean the whole CD could be truly recovered as a single file with the registered version ?

Application hangs. The application was successfully downloaded, and it was successfully installed too. But it hangs while running it. Please note it that this was the trial version. It hangs while detecting cd or dvd, in the recovery wizard itself.

Seems to do a good job Only used to see if it could read a co-workers resume file from an old scratched CD that had a MS Works document on it. It took several minutes for it to read the damaged CD, but it seemed to display meaningful text that was contained in the original file. Not knowing how much data the original document had, I can't say what percentage it recovered, but it seems to me that if you had critical data recovery needs, This would be the product to buy.

Nice Interface Tried to recover data from an unreadable session on CD-R. It could find an open session but not read any of the files. I tried a raw data read, but none of the sectors could be read. I think the media was unusable for recovery.

Disappointed This software does not recover my files from a defected CD-R I had carrying pictures I really wanted to come back. My CD-Burner did not burn the CD right, but the files made it on the CD-R anyways. This software failed to retrieve the files although I do admit it did get some files, but not the ones I wanted recovered. What is the point of selling a software that does not do what you and it claims to do? I'm sorry but your software did not meet my needs, therefore I'm very disappointed.

CD-DVD recovery Hey, I did try out this software in an attempt to recover video files from a DVD which had very mild scratches. But I failed to do so. Not sure if the software is really effective.
